Subject : Control of cost of life saving drug of Bayer (Xarelto) for blood clotting

Respected Sir,

For blood clott curring an essential drug is xarelto which is produced by M/s BAYER Germany and imported in india and sold by them.

This medicine is essential in blood cancer, Deep Vain Thambosis and other vain related problems.

Doctors prescribe this medicine for upto 8-9 months and cost of 28 tablet pack is ₹4060/- for 15mg.

Daily 2-3 tablets of 10mg to 20mg requied depending upon patient condition and monthly average ₹8120/- requires. For complete treatment of 8-9 months cost comes around ₹75000/-.

For poor peoples it is not at all offerdable. Even for tax payer also it is burden.

This medicine is patented drug and only BAYER is holding patent.

It is requested that India Govt may direct M/s BAYER to reduce the cost or Govt may purchase the patent rights by paying fees so that drug can be available to poor patients of our nation.

Hence you are requested to take appropriate action and help poor peoples.
