Rajadhani express trains charge for your food when you book tickets. Food is not free.
So consumers are entitled to know what they are eligible for .The Railways should post in each coach what is the passenger entitlement by way of food menu as well as bed rolls and drinking water. Are they entitled to one bottle of water if train journey time is more than 24 hours?
Toilets are placed in a fashion lacking commonsense. In a coach, at one end toilets are both Indian and other end both are western type. Ideally each end should have one Indian and one western model. Old people find it difficult to move in a running train from one end to other end of coach.
The passengers are being asked for tips not only by the catering staff but also by the person supplying bed rolls. This is like some hotels charging service charges illegally.
Coming to quality of food it is better one order online. Train in house pantry serves morning breakfast Upma without chatni or sambar. How do one eat boiled suji like that.
They are supposed to serve one sweet at lunch and dinner. They give some old packaged sone papdi each time.
The train from Chennai is reaching Nizamuddin at 10.40 am. Are people getting down at Agra not entitled to breakfast? The staff delay serving breakfast intentionally and serve it after train leaves Agra.

Then the simple thing like playing recorded messages like the Delhi Metro is not done perfectly. The message says Namskaar , you are about to reach Nagpur ,when train has already arrived at Nagpur. Synchronizing need to be done otherwise it does nt help passengers.
There are messages played to encourage passengers to maintain cleanliness inside and also on the tracks to be part of Swach Bharat efforts. Excellent. But I found the staff throwing waste collected in a black polythene bag from different coaches on the tracks while train was about to reach Nizamuddin stn.
It is often the case in our country that preachers don't practice - be it a religious guru or policeman or politician or govt agencies.
It is like water tanker supplying water to drought affected people spilling water all along the way from the source to people.
I hope someone checks all these anomalies in the system.

A complaint has been heard against Axis Bank alleging adapting unethical business

A complaint has been heard against Axis Bank alleging adapting unethical business practices by putting only notes of denomination of Rs. 100/- so that consumers swipe the cards as many times possible to draw the cash to meet his requirement. This may be possible as there is a maximum of 5 free ATM transactions in own bank ATMs beyong which payment of Rs. 20/- per transaction is charged. Has any one else faced similar problem? complent regarding replacement of transformer by DHBVN in Kheri Kalan.

To
The Editor,
Navbharat Times

Dear Sir,

I refer to your news report as appeared in NBT Faridabad on 1st May 2016 (scanned copy attached) regarding replacement of transformer by DHBVN in Kheri Kalan.

It is not surprising as DHBVN does not care for the electricity subscribers despite having been mandated by Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission. In the case of instant report, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission have regulation of addressing the complaint of Distribution Transformer failure within 24 hrs in city and 48 hrs in rural area. In case DHBVN does not meet such tmelines, DHBVN need to pay penalty to the affected consumers at the rate of Rs. 100/- per day subject to a maximum of Rs. 3,000/- and this penalty is payaable automatically that means without any demand. Payment of penalty is the only route to improve Quality of Services of any service provider.

I would request you to kindly bring out the above stated facts in appropriate manner in your newspaper so that people raise their voice against such deficiency in services. Incidentally I am contesting a complaint before CGRF for a claim of Rs. 9,000/- for not adhering to time schedule for correction in bills. I have also brought out an article titled "
Are Electricity Companies in Haryana like DHBVN adapting to unethical business practices?"
on my blog
which can be gone through at http://skvirmani-jagograhak.blogspot.in/2016_02_01_archive.…
