Well Arshi Khan has a knack for getting into trouble. But this time, it was trouble that fell into Arshi Khan’s lap.
The actress who was travelling to Andheri via the S V Road on Monday evening, asked her assistant to get her a Pepsi bottle. She stopped her car outside Brijwasi sweets at S. V. Road Malad West, opposite the Mac Donalds and Domino’s Pizza stores and asked the store keeper for a soft drink bottle.
The store keeper gave her assistant Manish Yadav a 1.25 litre Pespsi 7-Up bottle and he handed it over to her.
After taking a few sips, Arshi Khan realised something was amiss. The 7 Up tasted different and there was something fishy about the beverage. It was not the regular 7-Up taste, she said.
On checking the manufacture date on the bottle, she realized that the  bottle was over 7 months old, well over the 3-months validity or stipulated date of validity.
She turned back her car and immediately sent her assistant back with the bottle to Brijwasi Sweets. The owner accepted the bottle back and returned the cash, but refused to apologize.
Arshi Khan had decided to take the matter ahead and will file complaints with the FDA and other statutory bodies.

Representatives of Brijwasi Sweets and Pespsi were not available for comment.
