"I refer to the article that appeared on front page of Faridabad Times dtd. 21st September 2014 undertitle डिसकाउंट है तो एड वाली कार भी चलेगी by Mr. Prashant Chahal.
I wish the writer may have checked the facts before writing such an article. The article which is being understood covers that the buyer can bring the car by paying 25% down payment and the main theme is display of advertisement on the car even the personal car.
I would like to bring certain facts for an appropriate covering in the report:
1. The car is not available on down payment of 25% amount. One has to pay rest of the amount in 60 installment.
2. Two years EMIs are required to be paid. Rest of three years i.e 36 EMIs are reimbursed on meeting certain conditions like installation of GPS, covering certain specified distances in a month and the car is required to carry on advertisement on some %age (60%) area of the car body.
3. The company may not have the permission to display advertisements as the display of advertisement on the car body is not allowed under Motor Vehicle Rules. This information has been sought from concerned statutory agencies under RTI Act 2005.
In view of above
, I would request for a, immediate corrective article in the newspaper so as to save perspective buyers from unethical and misleading purchase.
